Consultations
All our consultations are by appointment within the times shown above. We have a number of vets working routinely at the clinic during the week and for non-emergency appointments we will book this with the vet you request where possible.
We provide a free clinical health check with vaccinations.
Operations and Surgery
We carry out many routine, minor as well as more major operations at the clinic from neutering, dentistry up to orthopaedic (bone) surgery, eye and intestinal surgeries. We have a range of diagnostic equipment including digital radiography (x-rays), ultrasonography. endoscopy and our own laboratory.
Please note that on rare occasions we may need to cancel operations at short notice if for example we have an emergency which takes precedence.
Hospitalisation
We have separate species wards as well as an isolation unit and our team are on hand to care for your sick or injured pet.
Pets that are fit to travel are transferred to our emergency provider overnight. A duty Vet and Nurse is available should your pet be unfit to travel.
Free New Pet Healthcheck
All new pups, kittens and rabbits, if seen prior to vaccinations, receive a free health check by one of our vets.
(Please note - if your pet has a problem, then a regular consultation fee will apply).
Free Flea and Worm Treatment
All puppy and kitten primary vaccinations will receive a their first worm and flea treatment free.
Free 4 week Pet Insurance
We strongly recommend insuring your new pet and can offer 4 weeks complimentary free cover with Pet Plan for animals up to 1 year of age.

Pet Health Plans
Spread the cost and save money on annual preventative and routine treatment. There's no reason not to sign up!

Pet travel advice
If you are planning to travel abroad with your pet we will be happy to provide advice on requirements for your intended destination. Please note from 1st January 2021 EU pet passports will no longer be valid and an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) will be required. Hip and Elbow Scoring
We can perform radiography for health screening in accordance with BVA and KC schemes.
Referrals
Where appropriate we can arrange referral of your pet to a specialist as required. We currently make no charge for this service. This includes referral for behavioural problems.
Charity Neutering
We are pleased to support charity neutering schemes.
Microchipping
Nurse Clinics
Running most days, our team of Veterinary Nurses are able to advise on preventative healthcare. Our nurses are trained Pet Health Counsellors and provide clinics for older pets, dental checks, juveniles, weight problems and nutritional advice to name a few. Whilst Veterinary Nurses are not allowed to diagnose medical conditions or prescribe prescription medication they can discuss medicating your pet, provide post operative checks and dressing changes, clip nails, discuss parasite control, take blood samples and perform other minor procedures as requested by a Veterinary Surgeon.
Acupuncture
We can provide acupuncture as an alternative and adjunctive therapy at our Whitestone Clinic
